The Wheel of the Year

This is a calendar project based on the pagan concept of “The wheel of the Year”. Part of my final major project at university, I created a fold out pocketable calendar featuring the seasonal festivals that were observed in the UK by Celtic people. These festivals mark the summer and winter solstices, the spring and autumn equinoxes and the mid points between. I also developed the calendar into a single image. This was painted using gouache paint.
